The version presented in Madrid has been specifically designed for the Mutua Madrid Open’s venue, maintaining the essence and message of the original exhibition with a relaxed, playful, and experiential product.

Visitors will be able to see various objects linked to Alcaraz’s career, such as racquets, kit, trainers, and trophies from his childhood, as well as the Grand Slam titles. In addition, there will be other surprising items that allow a closer look at his story from a human and social perspective.

The exhibition is based around three key concepts. Firstly, it highlights some of the main factors that shape childhood development, such as environment, education, and health. Secondly, it highlights the importance of role models, individuals who can inspire and show that different realities are possible when opportunities arise. Lastly, it encourages visitors to reflect on the concept of success; what does it truly mean to succeed and what does it represent for each person?

“This exhibition offers an opportunity to remember how childhood shapes each of our lives. I encourage you to come and discover what we have created”, said Carlos Alcaraz, president of the foundation.

For her part, Garbiñe Muguruza, co-director of the Mutua Madrid Open, highlighted the value of hosting such an initiative as part of the tournament: “For the Mutua Madrid Open, it is an honour to provide space for an exhibition with such a vital and inspiring message.
