Regarding the astonishing numbers he is producing, Jannik is not getting carried away: ” I\u2019m grateful for the compliments, but I don\u2019t live for records. Still, the Italian acknowledges he is fully aware of the magnitude of his accomplishments but, he says, there is no secret sauce: \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of work behind this\u201d, Sinner admitted when describing his achievement. \u201cIt\u2019s incredible to have won five Masters 1000 consecutively. I\u2019m doing amazing things, playing very well. I\u2019m happy to keep believing in myself, to keep working with the team I have. A lot of dedication and sacrifice every day. He was also understanding of Zverev\u2019s performance and played down what must have been a painful conclusion: “Sascha was more tired and perhaps that made him more nervous. It happens to me too. The break was very quick and I think that helped me. I was solid and as a result, I was able to win the final”.<\/p>\n
The Italian may not be one to wear his heart on his sleeve, but that does not mean he doesn\u2019t have one. In fact, he\u2019s very family-oriented. This Sunday, Mother\u2019s Day in Spain, he expressed his admiration for his parents: “I consider myself very fortunate.
