The 2023 edition of the Mutua Madrid Open<\/b><\/u><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0will be unlike any other before it. As the WTA 1000 event did two years ago, this year the ATP Masters 1000 will become a two-week competition<\/b><\/strong>. It is an ambitious move and one that consolidates the spirit of growth that has defined the event since its 2002 arrival in Madrid. Sharing the same values of continuous improvement, as a sponsor of the Mutua Madrid Open since 2016<\/b><\/strong>, Grupo Cosentino<\/b><\/u><\/strong><\/a>, a global leader in the production and distribution of sustainable surfaces for architecture and design, is once again one of the tournament\u2019s main sponsors.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

As part of this collaboration, last Friday Feliciano L\u00f3pez <\/b><\/strong>visited the company\u2019s offices in Madrid. Accompanied by Eduardo Cosentino<\/b><\/strong>, the Group\u2019s Global VP of Sales and CEO of Cosentino North America, the Director of the Mutua Madrid Open<\/b><\/u><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0got a close up look at the company\u2019s facilities in Madrid, and led an interesting \u201cLunch&Talk\u201d with various members of staff<\/b><\/strong>. During the conversation, Feliciano discussed organising a tournament whose magnitude is now similar to that of a Grand Slam, his own experience as Director of the event, and Cosentino\u2019s involvement as a sponsor.<\/p>\n

The 2023 Mutua Madrid Open will once again be exhibiting the versatility, the inimitable qualities, and the design features of the Cosentino\u2019s Silestone\u00ae and Dekton\u00ae surfaces, which will be in use in some of the Caja M\u00e1gica\u2019s iconic spaces <\/b><\/strong>during the tournament, such as the Sky Lounges, the Welcome Desk, and the VIP Restaurant Zone.<\/p>\n

The 21st<\/sup>\u00a0edition of the #MMOPEN, an ATP Masters 1000 and WTA 1000 event, gets underway on 24 April with the biggest stars in men\u2019s and women\u2019s tennis competing for the titles. Televised in XXX countries, the ATP main draw has been expanded from 56 to 96 players and from 8 to 12 days.
