Therefore, Iberdrola, a world leader in renewables and smart networks, is going to support the best players on the planet through the signing of a sponsorship agreement with the Spanish tournament, which this year stages its 22<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0edition.<\/p>\n<p>The Mutua Madrid Open, an ATP Masters 1000 and WTA 1000 event will bring together the biggest stars of the game in the Caja M\u00e1gica from 22 April to 5 May. By means of this agreement, Iberdrola has bolstered its drive for equality through sport, through which it already supports 600,000 sportswomen.<\/p>\n<p>The company continues to exercise its commitment to women\u2019s tennis through its support of the Real Federaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Tenis and its women\u2019s team, and now through its support of the Mutua Madrid Open.<\/p>\n<p>Iberdrola\u2019s ambassadors include tennis player Paula Badosa, building a path with her towards true equality in sport.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the company currently backs 32 national sports federations, benefitting 600,000 female athletes, that is, two of every three affiliated women in Spain.
