The Mutua Madrid Open announced on Thursday that it will be producing a daily podcast during this year’s event, exploring a new format and adding another product to the wide range of entertainment the tournament produces for the fans.

Iguales will be presented by Jaime Leal ‘Gravesen’ and can be watched exclusively on the Mutua Madrid Open YouTube channel, as well as being available in audio format on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and iVoox. Every episode of the podcast, which will be approximately 30 minutes long, will include a special guest from the world of tennis, starting with Feliciano Lopez, the director of the Mutua Madrid Open, on Monday 24 April.

“On Iguales we’ll be having one-on-one conversations with the best tennis players in the world, about more than just sport itself”, said ‘Gravesen’. “I’m sure the podcast will help the young generations discover many players and identify with them, which is one of our main goals. I can’t wait to embark on this new adventure”.

Iguales will be recorded every day in the Caja Mágica, on a spectacular set purpose-built for the occasion, including iconic features that will surprise spectators and encourage interaction with the guests during their visits to the programme.

The 2023 Mutua Madrid Open will take place in the Caja Mágica from 24 April to 7 May.
