1- For what purpose do we process your personal data and why?
MTP processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- To process the purchase of tickets to MTP events, to process payments securely, to send purchase confirmation messages as well as reminders of events, and to provide customer and after-sales services. This processing is based on the performance of the contract you enter into with us.
- To arrange your attendance at the MTP event, to allow orderly and secure access to the premises and the proper allocation of seats and to notify you of any unforeseen circumstances or modifications affecting the MTP event, where necessary. This processing is based on the performance of the contract you enter into with us. If, in order to arrange your attendance at the event, it is necessary to collect information on special accessibility needs resulting in the processing of special categories of personal data in the terms of the General Data Protection Regulation, the processing of such personal data will be based on your explicit consent in accordance with Article 9.2(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation.
- In order to ensure the safety of the event and, where appropriate, the health of its attendees within the scope of the regulations in force. This processing is based on the compliance with a legal obligation in the event that the controls are mandatory pursuant to the applicable legislation, and on the performance of a task carried out in the public interest in the event that these controls are legally feasible, but not mandatory.
- To inform you about upcoming MTP events similar to the MPT event you purchased a ticket for. This processing is based on MTP’s legitimate business interests. For upcoming MTP events not similar to the one you purchased a ticket for, the processing shall only be carried out if you have consented to it.
- To inform you about products, services or events of MTP sponsors, partners or companies within the IMG group to which MTP belongs.This processing shall only be carried out if you have consented to it.
- To process your voluntary participation in contests or prize draws. This processing shall only be carried out if you have consented to it.
- To run statistical analyses of our customers’ needs that enable us to adapt our services to their needs. This processing is based on MTP’s legitimate business interests.

2- Which categories of personal data do we process and where do we get them from?
In general, we obtain your personal data directly from you, for example, when you fill in a purchase form. However, in certain cases, we obtain it from third parties, like when you use third-party channels to purchase your tickets.
The categories of personal data we process are the following:
- Identification data(name and surname) and ID number, which we process, for example, to enable the purchase of your tickets to MTP events.
- Contact details(email, postal address, phone number), which we process, for example, to enable the purchase of your tickets.
- Bank details necessary to process the payment of your tickets to MTP events.

- Data relating to special accessibility needs necessary to allow us to provide you with the special accessibility conditions you need to attend the MTP event.
3- Which recipients might have access to your personal data?
In general, the personal data we process are only disclosed to third parties in compliance with a legal obligation, for example, to public authorities, such as law enforcement agents or competent judges and courts.
However, your personal data may be disclosed to third parties in cases where there is a legal basis for it in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. For example, MTP may disclose your personal data to MTP sponsors, partners and companies of the IGM group if you have given us your consent for it.
Your personal data may also be accessed by suppliers who, in order to provide services to MTP, process personal data for which MTP is the controller on behalf of MTP, such as IT support or billing suppliers. These suppliers are data processors in the terms of article 28 of the General Data Protection Regulation.
The recipients referred to in this section may be located inside or outside the European Economic Area. In the event a recipient is located outside the European Economic Area, transfers will be based, as appropriate, either on an adequacy decision adopted by the European Commission pursuant to Article 45 of the General Data Protection Regulation, or on one of the appropriate safeguards provided for in Article 46 of the General Data Protection Regulation, such as standard data protection contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission, or on one of the derogations set out in Article 49 of the General Data Protection Regulation. 4- How do we protect your personal data?
Your personal data will be treated confidentially at all times and the necessary technical and organisational measures will be taken to guarantee its security, preventing its alteration, loss, unauthorised processing or access, taking into account the state of the art, the nature of the personal data stored and the risks that it may pose to your rights and freedoms.
Please note that in the event that you access through our website to third party websites or applications, MTP is not responsible for the processing of your personal data by third parties that may result from your visit to the third party website.
5- How long do we keep your personal data?
We only keep your data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected in accordance with section 1 of this Privacy Policy, as well as to determine possible liabilities that may arise from said purposes or the processing of the personal data as well as to comply with legal obligations (for example, we have to comply with certain retention obligations for tax purposes).
6- Which rights have you got in relation to the processing of your data and how can you exercise them?
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure and portability of your personal data, as well as the right to restrict and object to the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time where the processing is based on it and not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing of your data. As regards the latter, MTP only makes decisions based on automated processing of personal data when it sends automatic acknowledgements of receipt or purchase confirmation messages. These automated responses are sent to all customers and do not lead to any negative consequence, adverse effect or restriction of rights for data subjects.
To exercise these rights, you must submit a request to RGPD@madrid-open.com duly evidencing your identity and indicating which right you wish to exercise.
In the event that you consider that MTP has infringed any of the referred rights, you may file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
7- Is it necessary for me to provide my personal data?
The personal data requested by MTP are, unless otherwise specified, necessary to comply with the purposes recorded in section 1 of this Privacy Policy. Therefore, if you do not provide your personal data accordingly, these purposes might not be fulfilled, without prejudice to the fact that you may freely visit our website in any case.
8- What is your responsibility concerning the personal data you provide?
When you provide us with your personal data, you are responsible for ensuring that the data is true, accurate, complete and up to date. In the event that you provide personal data of other data subjects, you declare that you have their consent, where necessary, and you undertake to pass on the information contained in this Privacy Policy to them, exempting MTP from any liability in this regard.
