Quirónsalud, providing care for the Mutua Madrid Open players as the Official Medical Provider

Once again, Quirónsalud will play a pivotal role in one of the major events on the international tennis calendar, working as the Official Medical Provider for the Mutua Madrid Open. The tournament, taking place from 20 April to 3 May in the Caja Magica, will bring together the stars of the ATP and WTA Tours.

The event will feature a world-class field headed by current champions Aryna Sabalenka and Casper Ruud, alongside stars like Carlos Alcaraz, Iga Swiatek, Jannik Sinner, Elena Rybakina, Novak Djokovic, and Coco Gauff, among more of the biggest names from world tennis.

Through its partnership of over two decades with the Madrid tournament, Quirónsalud has reaffirmed its commitment to elite sport, working closely with the Mutua Madrid Open medical team to ensure first-rate healthcare for all players.

Throughout the competition, Quirónsalud will manage transfer and comprehensive healthcare of the tennis players in both the men’s and women’s competitions, in the event of any incidents. Furthermore, it will make its hospital network in Madrid available to participants for diagnostic tests and clinical analyses, facilitating the swift detection and treatment of any injuries or conditions.

Established presence in tennis

Quirónsalud has strengthened its role in the world of tennis, consolidating a prominent presence in recent years. The Group is currently the Official Provider of Medical Services for the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation (RFET) and the Official Medical Service of the Rafa Nadal Academy. In addition, it has regularly collaborated in the biggest tennis competitions held in Spain, including the most recent Davis Cup and the Billie Jean King Cup final stages, as well as in renowned tournaments such as the Open Banc Sabadell – Trofeo Conde de Godó, several ATP Challenger tournaments, and top-level national championships.

It also collaborates with various football, basketball, and rugby clubs in Spain and collaborates in iconic sporting events such as Reto Pelayo Vida, the Ocean Race sailing event, Nationale-Nederlanden San Silvestre Vallecana, and the Behobia/San Sebastián, among others.
