The Mutua Madrid Open announced on Wednesday that it will be running the FC 24 Virtual Championship powered by Mutua Madrid Open, a virtual eSports competition that will crown its champion in the national grand finale in the Caja Mágica during the final days of the Mutua Madrid Open, which will bring together the best tennis players in the world from 22 April to 5 May.
FC 24 Virtual Championship powered by Mutua Madrid Open, which will be played exclusively on PlayStation 5, will kick off on 12 April at Cines Callao with a presentation that will be open to the public, in which professional EA SPORTS FC 24 players, as well as famous content creators and other special guests, will participate and add a splash of colour to a very special night on which attendees will have a chance to win various prizes, such as a PlayStation 5, EA SPORTS FC 24 games and tickets to the Mutua Madrid Open.
Coinciding with the presentation, the first in-person heat of the FC 24 Virtual Championship powered by Mutua Madrid Open will take place, marking the start of a competition whose online phase will take place from 12 to 23 April, with all organisational and access information available on www.madridopenvirtual.com, before culminating with six in-person qualifying heats in the Caja Mágica (22, 23, 24, 25, 28 and 29 April) and a grand finale (4 May) as part of the Mutua Madrid Open.
Among other prizes, the winner of the FC 24 Virtual Championship by Mutua Madrid Open will claim 2,500 euros as they are crowned champion of the competition.
