The Mutua Madrid Open brings together the best players in the world as they make their cases for one of the season’s most important titles on clay. Rafael Nadal stands head and shoulders above the rest. The Spaniard has ruthlessly dominated the surface for almost 20 years since picking up his first ATP Tour title in 2004. The man with the most Caja Mágica crowns is the only player to have a success rate of over 90% on clay, with more than 500 matches under his belt.
